The MP3s on this page are taken directly from my own original CDs and uploaded here. This means that they
are high quality, but also that it may take a while for them to load because the files are pretty large.
Now, the Parade album is quite controversial...I think you either love it..or hate it! There's not much
room for anything in between.
Released in December 2005, it serves as a tribute album to Buck-Tick and as a celebration for the band's
20th anniversary.
So why the love/hate?
Because not everyone will appreciate hearing other Japanese bands play well known and loved Buck-Tick songs,
adapted to their own style or made into a completely different version of the original. Some even go as far as calling it
a rape of the original songs. But by doing so they forget that Buck-Tick themselves were product supervisors of this CD and
that there's no way anything has been made or produced without their approval.
Personally; I love the CD and I like hearing the songs in different styles. Even though I certainly
do not like every song on this album, some of these bands have truly made genuine masterpieces and it's exactly these songs
I'd like to share.
